Try out Wingfoil at Lenguaventura and give an extra kick to your summer
OVERVIEW
A new addition to our summer camp for teens aged 14 to 17 in Tarifa: Wingsurfing.

The WINGSURF, or WINGFOIL at advanced levels, represents the latest innovation in water sports, gaining popularity in recent years. It combines elements from kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddle surfing, and regular surfing. Beginners start on a regular SUP board, progressing to a SUP Foil board with a hand-held inflatable sail, known as a “wing.” The posture resembles windsurfing, providing a unique sensation of sliding on a buoyant board while feeling the wind’s force through the wing.
Wingsurfing is a safe sport when practiced with adherence to rules requiring participants to wear a helmet and a life jacket, similar to kitesurfing and windsurfing. The direct control of the wing prevents loss of control, and a safety leash ensures the wing moves to a neutral position if released. The boards used are large and floatable, providing stability for standing or sitting. Safety is a priority in our programmes, and we’ve carefully selected instructors to offer the best experience. Partnering with KTS, a local kitesurf school, ensures an exciting summer holiday memory for our campers. Discover wingsurfing—a sport for a lifetime!
Practise Wingsurf this summer and make a new water sports experience:
This course is offered only to beginners in this sport and in a group of four people sharing the wingsurf gear available in pairs. The wingsurf gear includes a board, wing, helmet, life jacket, and wetsuit.
There is enough time to learn all the basics to enjoy wingsurfing in one week. The hydrofoil element may be introduced at the end of the second week if the abilities of the students and the wind conditions allow them to take this step.
The wingsurf lessons take place on four afternoons each week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) for a total of 12 hours weekly.
Skill levels
- Level 0. A beginner without experience.
Recommendation:
If you join a friend and both have the same knowledge of wingsurfing (beginner or intermediate level), a semi-private course could be offered for 12 hours (two students, each with their own wingsurf gear.

A fantastic team of dedicated professionals organizes the camp with boundless enthusiasm. My nephews attended, and it has been an incredible experience for them. They not only enhanced their English skills but also engaged in numerous activities and sports amidst an international community of teens, all set in a stunning destination. Thank you for everything!

Our 16 year old is transformed! He has been filled with confidence and the kindness of your instructors and monitors. Thank you for the whole team. It was all a huge success and I will be forever grateful that he had this opportunity to prove that he could rise to the challenge of doing something like this.

A really great apportunity to meet new people from across the world, with different cultures and backgrounds. Whilst there I developed my Spanish language skills and learnt how to windsurf! There were many fun activities in and out of the classroom that made this trip a great experience – on top of the beautiful location.
