English Camps for School Groups in Malta

The archipelago of Malta consists of three main islands, Malta, Gozo and Comino. They are situated in the middle of the Mediterranean, very close to Sicily. From all three islands Malta is the biggest one and enjoys a Mediterranean climate with a lot of sun for approximately eight months of the year which makes it a perfect destination for a school trip with English immersion.

With regard to the strategic situation, Malta can look back to a turbulent history. It was conquered by many countries but finally gained independence in 1964. In its heritage; Malta is one of only a few really bilingual countries.

Besides the Maltese Islands being a feast for the senses, the contrast of the deep blue of both sky and sea competes with the mellow honey-coloured limestone which is characteristic of Maltese architecture.

Valletta is the capital of Malta and only a few kilometers away from the airport.

For the past few years some low cost companies operate direct flights from spring to late autumn from many European cities to Malta.

Malta has a lot to offer young learners, with historical paths to follow in Valletta and Mdina and many fun – and sport activities on land and water. As the island is small everything is reachable within a short time and makes it possible to explore the island even during a short stay.

The project

The Lenguaventura Malta project has much in common with our Camps in Tarifa as both spots have a safe environment with relaxed people and a climate that guarantees a sunny stay.

We are happy that we have found partners in Malta who share our values so that we are pleased to offer English Camps for school groups with activities which promise lots of fun and adventure.

Our standard Malta program has a duration of 5 days/4 nights and includes amongst other activities a Valletta experience which is Malta’s Capital and recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site with stunning views over the Grand Harbour and the Marsamxett Harbour. Another cultural highlight is undoubtedly strolling through Medina with its quaint medieval streets.

According to the school groups’ interest and budget, sport- and/or leisure/adventure activities, such as paintball, climbing, SUP, kayaking, visit to Waterparks can be integrated in the program.
