Getting There
For many parents, how their teenager gets to the teen summer camp in Tarifa is a principal concern before arrival.
Most teenagers arrive via Málaga airport. We offer a free pick-up on Sundays between 10:00 and 18:00. Arrivals are coordinated in small groups, so waiting times are usually kept short.
Pick-up from Gibraltar airport on Sundays is also included. Transfers from other airports or on other days can be arranged if needed. Further details can be found on our website.
The First Step Together
From the moment they arrive at the airport, teenagers are not travelling alone but become part of a group heading in the same direction.
This first shared time often helps to break the ice. Conversations start naturally during the journey, and by the time they arrive in Tarifa, they no longer feel like they are arriving alone.
Arrival at Camp
Once at our teen summer camp in Tarifa, arrival is kept simple and calm. There is time to settle in, get familiar with the surroundings, and meet the rest of the group.
Nothing is rushed. The first hours are about arriving, both physically and mentally.
You can read more about how the first days at camp unfold in our article Arrival and the First Days at Camp in Tarifa.
Departure
The same structure applies at the end of the stay. Transfers back to Málaga airport are organised on Sundays within the same time window, making departure just as straightforward as arrival.
Departures on other days or to other airports can also be arranged. For specific requests, you can contact us directly by email.
What This Means for Parents
For parents, this usually removes one of the main uncertainties. Travel is part of the overall organisation, and teenagers are accompanied from arrival to departure.
For many, this makes the transition from home to camp feel more natural – and gives parents peace of mind.
