There’s no denying that 2020 has been tough for everyone. After spending almost a full year in the midst of a global pandemic, we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There’s advancing scientific knowledge on how to tackle the disease, so we’re hopeful that by summer 2021, Lenguaventura Summer Camps will be back up and running. And, we’ll all be spending time with our family and friends again and the world will be a in a much healthier place.
We were so disappointed to have to cancel our summer camp this year as we love welcoming our wonderful international teenage campers to Tarifa each year. But, we knew it was the safest thing to do to ensure we can have a healthy and happy camp next year instead.

This quote has helped us stay positive for the future. It’s helped us to think about the rewards we’ll reap from our hard work now which will make the future brighter and easier for us all in the long run. A long and healthy life is better than risking our health and the health of our family and friends – especially the older generation – for instant gratification now.
By summer 2021, we anticipate that Covid cases will be decreasing, friends and families will be meeting again, holidays will be taking place and our summer camp will be imminent! We’re inviting you to share our anticipation with us and secure your place on our summer camp by booking now, but with the option to pay the downpayment much later in February 2021. We’re so excited to welcome you all back and we hope you’re looking forward to it as much as us!
Here are three top things we’re looking forward to doing when the global pandemic is over…
Hugging our friends and extended family
It’s been very challenging not being able to hug our closest friends and family during the pandemic but we know that in order for the virus to decrease, a safe distance must be kept to reduce transmission. When it’s safe to do so, we’ll be making plans to see our nearest and dearest and give them a really big hug!
Getting together in groups
Oh how we’ve missed group gatherings since Covid! We’re looking forward to welcoming groups of campers to our camp in Tarifa next summer. Of course, taking into account safety regulations to keep us all healthy and free from Covid.
Exploring and meeting new faces
It can seem like we’ve seen the same four walls during quarantine and we are itching to get out, explore new places and meet new people. Hopefully our summer camp 2021 will give our campers the opportunity to do just that, when it’s safe to do so. Here’s to a new healthier world in 2021. We’re looking forward to meeting you.
