Nos vamos a Cádiz !!

Today teens from the summer course in Tarifa have rested more than usual cause there are no Spanish/English lessons on Wednesdays. Therefore they woke up at 9.45, and they took breakfast at 10.00. At 11.00 the bus was waiting for us for visiting the amazing city of Cádiz.

Cádiz is a city and port in south-western Spain, and has been a principal home port of the Spanish navy and it’s a typically city in Andalusia with wealth of attractive vistas and well preserved historical landmarks.

We started the route walking around La playa de la Caleta, after, we visited the historical center and typical Spanish markets where dependents sell a big variety of fresh fishes, fruits and vegetables.

The participants from Lenguaventura also had time for shopping and sightseeing using a map we gave them marked.

At 4.30 El Vaporcito (small boat) was waiting for us in the port of Cádiz, we went from the port of Cádiz to El Puerto de Santa Maria. The trip on the Atlantic Oceantook one hour. Once there we came back to Tarifa.

At night popcorns were anxious for being eaten, we had cinema time! Two sessions “Soy Leyenda” and “El Ilusionista” divided them for watching these films in Spanish languages with English subtitles.
